The Plan

Fully Online

To allow easy accessibility to as many aspiring hackers as possible, our hackathon will be held completely online - All you have to do is sign in!

Groups of 2-4 Members

This will allow for ample collaboration in order to effectively solve the given prompt.

Impactful Prompt

Our hackathon prompt will consider a specific global issue that yearns for the collaboration of intelligent, young hackers to bring about a solution that impacts the lives of many across the globe.

Cash Prizes

There will be cash prizes for the first place, second place, and third place winners respectively. Remember, the goal is to make a positive impact with your project, and the cash prizes are to incentivize this.

High accessibility

Anyone from across the globe that are currently enrolled in highschool are permitted to participate in our hackathon. Additionally, our hackathon is completely free of any charge for participants.

About Us

Eclipse Hacks is a student-led online hackathon that will be held annually, aiming to enhance the skills and knowledge in various aspects of coding for highschool-aged students in North America. In the same way that an eclipse transforms the ordinary into something extraordinary, this hackathon challenges participants to harness the power of computer science to overshadow conventional approaches and create innovative solutions to pressing global issues. Whether it's combating climate change, improving healthcare, or ensuring equitable access to education, participants will strive to design groundbreaking solutions that will outshine the status quo and bring a new light to these global challenges.
