"As an avid hackathon enthusiast myself, I noticed a common problem: Most hackathon prompts do not contribute to a global issue. That is why I decided to develop Eclipse Hacks, which focuses solely on fostering a positive impact on current global issues in order to make meaningful differences."

"When I started Eclipse Hacks, my goal was simple, to bring people the opportunity to create impactful real-world solutions. This hackathon is meant to challenge assumptions, foster collaboration, and build solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible.”

About Us

Eclipse Hacks is a student-led online hackathon that will be held annually, aiming to enhance the skills and knowledge in various aspects of coding for highschool-aged students in North America. In the same way that an eclipse transforms the ordinary into something extraordinary, this hackathon challenges participants to harness the power of computer science to overshadow conventional approaches and create innovative solutions to pressing global issues. Whether it's combating climate change, improving healthcare, or ensuring equitable access to education, participants will strive to design groundbreaking solutions that will outshine the status quo and bring a new light to these global challenges.
